Originally from Ottawa, John Demers arrived in Canmore in 2002 as an 18-year-old, drawn by the mountains for what was supposed to be just a ski season. However, like many who come to Canmore, he fell in love with the town and never left.

With a background split between painting in the summers and ski coaching in the winters, John developed a deep appreciation for both precision in his craft and the tight-knit mountain community that Canmore offers. Over the years, painting transitioned from a seasonal job to a lifelong profession, leading him to found Final Coat Painting Inc., a company dedicated to excellence, attention to detail, and an unmatched customer experience.
