Walls, ceilings, trim, doors and staircases, for homes, condos, rental units, offices and lodges. Plaster repairs, caulking and sanding before any colour goes on, then premium finishes applied with precision — straight lines, even walls, no brush marks. The result looks new, not just repainted.

Kitchen cabinet refinishing
A new kitchen without replacing a single cabinet. Doors and drawer fronts are sprayed in our shop, cabinet boxes are sprayed on site, and most kitchens are finished in two to five days — in the colour of your choice, for a fraction of the cost of new cabinetry. Oak, maple, MDF, thermofoil or previously painted: all can be refinished.

How it works
From first call to final walkthrough
Free on-site visit
We look at the rooms or cabinets, count the pieces, talk colour and sheen, and answer your questions. You get a written estimate — no surprises later.
Protection and preparation
Floors, furniture and counters are covered. Repairs, caulking, sanding and priming happen before any colour goes on. This step decides how the finish looks and how long it lasts.
Precise application
Experienced painters, premium products chosen for each surface, and the site kept tidy so your home keeps running while we work.
Final walkthrough
You inspect every wall or every cabinet piece with us before the invoice is settled. If something isn't right, we fix it.

Final Coat Painting Inc. is led by John and Paule Demers, proud Canmore locals for more than twenty years. John came to the mountains as a seasonal painter and ski coach, founded the company in 2010, and still runs it on a simple idea: treat every home like your own.
Their two boys were born here and are growing up in the Bow Valley, so the homes Final Coat paints belong to neighbours, not clients on a map. The crew you met at the top of this page works to the same standard John holds himself to: honest service, quality craftsmanship, and giving back to the community they love.
